The Times Union published a story on the upcoming series of SPHP Farmers Markets being held at Samaritan and St. Peter’s Hospitals. The markets are being held in partnership with the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York and the Patroon Land Foundation Farm in Voorheesville.

St. Peter’s Health Partners will host a series of unique farmers markets beginning Friday at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. The bi-weekly markets will feature vouchers for those who are food insecure, as well as free health screenings and fresh, local fruits and vegetables.
Farmers markets will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Samaritan on Friday, and again on Aug. 30 and Sept. 27, and at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany on Aug. 16, Sept. 13 and Oct. 11.
