Stuyvesant Plaza is donating $10,000 in gift cards to colleagues at St. Peter’s Hospital and Albany Med to be used at the plaza’s restaurants.

The availability of handguns in settings where children live and play has led to a devastating toll in human lives in the United States – every two hours a child is killed with a gun, either in a homicide, a suicide, or as a result of an unintentional injury.

In recognition of PRIDE Month, Dr. Duncan Savage of St. Peter’s Hospital Cancer Care Center, appeared on WNYT’s Health Beat to talk about some unique challenges the LGBTQ community faces when it comes to cancer.
