WNYT: Heart Patients Reunite With Teams That Cared for Them at St. Peter’s Hospital

During the hospitals annual Heart Recovery Reunion a Hoosick Falls man who spent 26 days on life support after a heart attack, a Schodack woman who relied on life support after a mitral valve repair and a Rotterdam woman who had her thoracic aorta rebuilt all met with the health care professionals who took care of them at a critical and dangerous time.

St. Peter’s Hospital says the reunion is a reminder of the compassion, skill and humanity that defines cardiac care and the lives transformed because of it.
