The Eddy Haven for the Abused Elderly, an intervention program for elder abuse, recently expanded into Saratoga County. The program helps protect vulnerable seniors who have fallen victims to all forms of abuse, including physical, financial, emotional, sexual and verbal abuse.

It’s a shocking statistic but an estimated two million seniors are abused in the U.S. annually. Linda Obercon, coordinator of the Eddy Haven for the Abused Elderly program which helps abused victims, spoke with TWC News about the growing problem. See full report here.
