WTEN: Ford Sends PPE to Upstate Hospitals

Joseph Hunziker, a lab technician at St. Peter’s Hospital, spoke to WTEN about his decision to donate plasma following his bout with COVID-19. Hunziker contracted the virus in March and has since recovered. 

Steven Hanks, M.D., chief clinical officer for St. Peter’s Health Partners, was interviewed by Spectrum News about the expansion of criteria for COVID-19 vaccine eligibility.

St. Peter’s Health Partners’ monoclonal antibody clinic treated nearly 9,000 of the sickest and most at-risk patients during the COVID-19 pandemic, and in doing so saved the lives of hundreds of Capital Region residents. On May 11, the clinic’s director, Dr. Melissa Fiorini, and her clinic colleagues were recognized for their life-saving efforts during a special ceremony at the Albany Memorial Campus of Samaritan Hospital.
