WNYT: St. Peter’s Nurses and Staff Hold Candlelight Vigil to Show Solidarity

Be a Light

WNYT aired a story about the “Be A Light” candle lighting ceremony that took place on National Nurses Day, May 6, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany and Samaritan Hospital in Troy. The ceremony was to honor nurses throughout St. Peter’s Health Partners, and show the community that our health care workers can be a “light” during these dark times of the COVID-19 pandemic.

From the story:

Nurses and staff at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany took part in the “Be A Light” candle lighting ceremony. It was held in honor of National Nurses Week, which was expanded to National Nurses Month this year. A ceremony was also held by staff at Samaritan Hospital.
