WAMC: St. Peter’s CEO Weighs Future Of Health Care After Ruling

St. Peter’s Health Partners and WellNow Urgent Care have opened the doors to their newest center in Rotterdam. Located at 1708 Altamont Ave., the center is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to provide COVID-19 testing, including rapid and antibody, as well as timely treatment for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses.

WAMC Northeast Public Radio interviewed Judy Rightmyer, director of Capital District Tobacco-Free Communities, concerning new tobacco control measures. The measures, which prohibit discounts on the sale of all tobacco products, went into effect on July 1 across New York state.
