During this COVID-19 pandemic, our frontline workers are busy around the clock, caring for our community. However, in the midst of all the bustle and the long, hard hours, it can be hard for them to remember that they are part of our community, too.
Today, Chris LaBarre, a patient care technician at Samaritan Hospital, extended his compassion to his colleagues. He loaded a wheelchair with boxes of snacks and drinks he and his friends outside of Samaritan purchased to help fuel his friends in the ICU.
A small gesture that means so much during this unprecedented crisis, and a true example of the St. Peter’s Health Partners mission to care for those in need—not just for our patients, but for one another.
