Nursing Education Seminar “Updates in Gastroenterology” to be Held Sept. 23
St. Peter’s Health Partners, in partnership with Albany Gastroenterology Consultants and the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates, is hosting a continuing nursing education course titled “Updates in Gastroenterology Nursing”.
The day long course will take place from 8 a.m to 4 p.m on Saturday, September 23, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Clifton Park, New York.
The program is designed for nurses, gastroenterology nurses, surgical nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, endoscopy and surgical technicians, and other health professionals looking to stay up-to-date on advancements in gastroenterology and endoscopy.
Participants will gain knowledge in indications for use on intraoperative endoscopy, irritable bowel syndrome and Crohn’s disease, methods for enhancing patient/family centered care in the endoscopy suite, and many other topics. The topics will be presented by medical professionals from St. Peter’s Health Partners and Albany Gastroenterology Consultants.
