Times Union: Were You Seen…at the 2019 Capital Region Heart Ball

Were you seen at the 36th Annual Capital Region Heart Ball?

The event, which benefits the American Heart Association, was held March 2 at the Hall of Springs in Saratoga Springs. Michael Finegan, president of acute care for St. Peter’s Health Partners, served as event chair.

This year, the Heart Ball honored cardiac nurses, including five from St. Peter’s Health Partners. Norine Kelsey, RN, of St. Peter’s Cardiac Rehabilitation & Wellness, was awarded the Donald Led Duke Heart Hero Award, for her decades of compassionate, patient-centered care. Nichole Berkery, BSN, RN, of St. Peter’s Hospital; Robert Dobski, BSN, RN of St. Peter’s Hospital; Rita Nelson, RN, PCCN, of Samaritan Hospital; and Paula Romeo, RN, of St. Peter’s Hospital, all received honorable mentions.
