Timeline Announced for Implementation of New Electronic Health Record Platform

St. Peter’s Health Partners (SPHP) will implement a new electronic health record (EHR) platform, to provide a better care experience for the people we serve, while unifying our system with faster and simpler patient records. The new EHR, Epic, is expected to go live across SPHP in June 2020. The implementation timeline was announced August 7 in a memo from SPHP President and CEO James K. Reed, M.D., Trinity Health President and COO Mike Slubowski, and others. “Epic will enable a better care experience for the people we serve across our Ministry, providing a single, comprehensive health record with seamless access to clinical and billing information,” Dr. Reed, Slubowski, and others wrote in the memo. “It will also improve the experience for our physicians and clinicians through integrated information to improve patient care and support seamless handoffs.” Trinity Health is implementing Epic at all of its regional health ministries, in multiple waves. SPHP and WellNow Urgent Care Open New Center in Saratoga Springs

St. Peter’s Health Partners and WellNow Urgent Care have opened the doors to their newest urgent care center. Located at 204 South Broadway in Saratoga Springs, the center is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. to provide rapid COVID-19 testing, as well as timely treatment for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses with no appointment needed.
