WNYT: New Patient Pavilion Opens at Samaritan Hospital in Troy

On Monday, December 4, St. Peter’s Health Partners hosted a Staff and Physician Open House and Ribbon Cutting, and a Public Open House of the the new Samaritan Hospital Emergency Department, opening  on December 7. SPHP Staff, physicians, and supporters were able to tour the new 32,000 square feet facility,  four times larger than the hospital’s previous emergency department, enjoy refreshments, and meet some of the department staff. Kick off the summer with a free community event! Samaritan and St. Mary’s hospitals will present the movie “Ferdinand” at the third annual Park and Play Movie Night. The event will take place on Friday, June 1, (with a rain date of June 8) on the lawn of St. Mary’s Hospital, located at 1300 Massachusetts Avenue in Troy. 

A $61,000 gift from St. Peter’s Health Partners will help give more than 1,000 at-risk youth in the Capital Region an opportunity to participate in a free after-school soccer program.
