On February 26, Tobacco Free Communities | Delaware, Otsego & Schoharie (TFC-DOS) cut the ribbon on its new office in Oneonta. Both TFC-DOS and Capital District Tobacco-Free Communities are grant- supported programs of St. Peter’s Health Partners, funded by the New York State Department of Health, Bureau of Tobacco Control.

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Dr. Jill Genua of Capital District Colon & Rectal Surgery Associates, appeared on WNYT to discuss risk factors for the disease and why so many younger people are being diagnosed with the illness.
