WellNow Urgent Care and SPHP Open Fourth Capital Region Urgent Care
St. Peter’s Health Partners and WellNow Urgent Care have opened a new location in Albany. Located at 1438 Western Avenue, Albany, NY 12203, the new urgent care location will provide immediate medical care to patients — both with and without insurance — seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Albany Memorial Hospital to Merge with Samaritan Hospital on January 1, 2020
Albany Memorial Hospital in Albany and Samaritan Hospital in Troy, New York, will merge into one legal entity on January 1, 2020. As a result, signs at the facility will read “Samaritan Hospital – Albany Memorial Campus.”

St. Peter’s Hospital Celebrates Record Number of Births in 2019
On December 17, the Women’s and Children’s department at St. Peter’s Hospital delivered its 3,000th baby of 2019. That’s the largest number of babies ever delivered in one year at the hospital, and is also believed to be the largest number of deliveries in one year at any facility in the Capital Region.
