NewsChannel 13: The Eddy Offers Housing and Care Options for Seniors as They Age

Thanks to the Electric City Detachment Marine Corps League, the Schenectady Fire Department Station 1, Stewart’s, and Radio 810-WGY for generous donations toward Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital’s pediatric project!

Collectively, the groups donated about $8,000 to benefit the pediatric project.

Three Eddy nursing homes were recognized by the New York State Department of Health’s Nursing Home Quality Initiative as top-performing facilities — Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center in Troy, Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland, and St. Peter’s Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Albany.

Three nursing homes within The Eddy not-for-profit network of continuing care services have been designated as Best Nursing Homes 2014 by U.S. News & World Report. The nursing homes were awarded the highest overall rating of five stars.
