SPHP Colleagues Donate 14,000 Pounds of Food to Food Drive

In recognition of continued and growing community need, St. Peter’s Health Partners (SPHP) teamed up with other community organizations and the City of Albany to fight local hunger.

From July 13 through August 3, more than 14,000 pounds of healthy, nonperishable food items were collected at Albany Memorial, Samaritan, St. Mary’s and St. Peter’s hospitals, the St. Peter’s Hospital Regional ALS Center, and many other St. Peter’s Health Partners locations in Albany and across the area.

SPHP’s goal for the drive was 2,500 pounds, which was easily bested thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of employees throughout the SPHP system of care. It was a true expression of SPHP employees living our values and carrying out our mission.

Thank you to everyone who donated food!
