Capital Region Midwifery Welcomes Lindsay Lachant

Lindsay Lachant, DNP, CNM, IBCLC

Lindsay Lachant, DNP, CNM, IBCLC, has joined Capital Region Midwifery, a practice of St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates.

Board-certified in midwifery and lactation, Dr. Lachant was previously a midwife at the Connecticut Childbirth and Women’s Center in Danbury, Connecticut. Her professional interests include breastfeeding, natural birth and water birth, evidence-based care, decreasing maternal mortality, and advocating and advancing the profession of midwifery.

Dr. Lachant earned her doctorate in nursing and midwifery degree from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky. She is excited to be part of the team at Capital Region Midwifery and at the Burdett Birth Center in Troy, which is where she completed her training.
