St. Peter’s Hospital To Celebrate Arrival of Spring

St. Peter's Hospital employees will be given a carnation as a symbol of appreciation and a celebration of the arrival of spring, on the morning of March 21 on Main Street.

Spring brings with it feelings of hope, new beginnings, new growth, and new possibilities.

To recognize spring’s arrival, St. Peter’s Hospital will be celebrating from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. on Monday, March 21, on the hospital’s Main Street.

Members of the Staff Engagement Committee and human resources staff will offer employees a carnation as a symbol of appreciation and a celebration of these feelings of spring. They will also be distributing carnations in various hospital departments throughout the day.

The Spring Celebration on Main Street will be the first of many opportunities over the next several weeks for staff to meet with Virginia L. Golden, chief integration officer for St. Peter’s Health Partners (SPHP), who will be transitioning into the position of Chief Executive Officer of St. Peter’s Hospital and Albany Memorial Hospital, and Vice President for Albany Acute Care with SPHP, effective mid-April.

As previously announced, Ann Errichetti, M.D., MBA, who currently holds this position, will be experiencing her own personal growth as she takes on a new role at Presence Health – a large health system in Chicago.
