Ajaz Khan, M.D.
Ajaz M. Khan, M.D., M.B.A., has joined St. Peter’s Medical Oncology – Hematology, a practice of St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates (SPHPMA). Dr. Khan serves as medical director for medical oncology.
Fellowship-trained in hematology and medical oncology, Dr. Khan is also board-certified in internal medicine. He practices hematology and medical oncology. His professional interests include breast and lung cancer, and coagulation disorders.
Dr. Khan joins SPHPMA from the OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center’s Center for Cancer Care in Rockford, Illinois, where he practiced since 2008. While there, he served as associate director of medical oncology, department chair for medical oncology, cancer committee chairman, and president of the medical staff.
Dr. Kahn received his medical degree from St. Georges’ University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Drexel University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and completed his fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey.
