St. Peter’s Health Partners will hold a free educational program about heart valve disease and heart valve surgery.
Christopher M. Terrien, M.D., of Albany Cardiothoracic Surgeons, will discuss the effects and implications of heart valve disease. He will speak about the symptoms of heart failure, describe the surgical treatment of valve diseases, and provide insight into future direction of valve surgery.
The free event will take place from 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, at the Mercy Auditorium on the St. Peter’s Hospital campus. The Mercy Auditorium is located at 310 S. Manning Blvd. in Albany, across the street from the hospital.
