The Daily Gazette published a story on the proposal to create the St. Peter’s Hospital College of Nursing. The new college would merge with the long-running Memorial College of Nursing.
From the article:
Both St. Peter’s Hospital and Albany Memorial Hospital are part of St. Peter’s Health Partners, which last month announced that Memorial College of Nursing would relocate to the Maria College campus, just a block away from St. Peter’s Hospital.
St. Peter’s earlier this month submitted the proposal to the state Board of Regents, which must approve the request.
Current Memorial College students, faculty and staff would transition into the new program with no interruption in programs.
