Every semester, students at the Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing choose and honor a nurse who inspired them during their clinical experience.
For the spring semester, students chose Samaritan Hospital nurse Laura Kellogg, RN, who works on the hospital’s fifth floor.
Comments from the students include:
-
- “Laura is friendly, knowledgeable and willing to take a moment of her time to explain anything from a computer issue to disease process to any student. Laura is certainly an asset to the nursing community.”
- “Recently, I worked with one of her patients. She explained things to me so completely and so understandably.“
- “Watching her interact with her patients shows me the kind of nurse I want to be.”
Kellogg is a 2014 graduate of the Memorial College of Nursing.
