NewsChannel 13: Walking Your Way to Heart Health

For some cancer survivors, fatigue and physical impairments are the new reality. The key for many to overcoming those hurdles is something every one of us can benefit from: Regular exercise.

The St. Peter’s Heart Walk Team is holding a “All-you-can-Zumba” fundraiser on Sunday, April 23, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Mercy Auditorium, at 310 S. Manning Blvd., on the St. Peter’s Hospital campus.

Offered every month by Samaritan Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital, “Walk With a Doc,” is a heart-healthy program featuring a walk with an area cardiologist. The next walk is at 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, at the Troy Farmers Market.
