Samaritan Hospital has been awarded nuclear/PET accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission. Samaritan’s is one of only 24 hospital-based nuclear cardiology programs in New York state to receive the three-year award.

Julia Palma, a cardiac critical nurse at St. Peter’s Hospital, was one of four people recognized today by the City of Troy and the Troy Turkey Trot organizers for helping save a man’s life at the annual Thanksgiving Day race.

Samaritan and St. Mary’s hospitals offer a monthly “Walk With a Doc” program where you can join two cardiologists for a one-mile walk and ask questions.
